9 Upcoming Akshay Kumar Films Which Make Him Bollywood’s Busiest Star

1- Jolly LLB 2 (10 February)

'Jolly LLB 2' will be Akshay Kumar’s first release of 2017 where he plays Jagdishwar Mishra aka Jolly, a small-time lawyer trying to make it big. The film is a sequel to the much successful Arshad Warsi starrer ‘Jolly LLB’ which is also directed by Subhash Kapoor. This is the first time that Akshay will be pairing up with Huma Qureshi as the film is expected to get the cash registers ringing.

2- Naam Shabana (31 March)

A prequel to Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’, ‘Naam Shabana’ stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead which is under production. The flick which is produced by Neeraj Pandey and directed by Shivam Nair will have Akshay in a special appearance whereas the leads will be Manoj Bajpayee and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran.

3-Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2 June)

Another upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer which is based on India’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ initiative and has been in the latest news for all the right reasons. ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ which co-stars Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is written by Siddharth and Garima. The film is set in a small town background where women face sanitation issues. The film promises to be a one of its kind which one can’t wait for it to release. 

4- 2.0 (18 October)

Akshay plays the monster evil, Dr. Richard and Crow King in the sequel to Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster ‘Enthiran’ which is titled ‘2.0’. The first look of the sci-fi flick was revealed during Diwali 2016 as it prepares for a 2017 Diwali release. Directed by Shankar, ‘2.0’ also stars Amy Jackson as the female lead.

5- Padman

‘Padman’ is Twinkle Khanna’s maiden production venture under ‘Mrs. Funnybones Movies’ banner. 'Padman' will see Akshay Kumar in a totally new avatar where he is expected to play the real-life character of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who is famously known as India’s ‘Menstruation Man’. Akshay’s female co-star in the film will be Sonam Kapoor and the megaphone will be wielded by R. Balki.

6- Crack

Though the release date for this Akshay Kumar starrer was announced as an Independence Day week release this year but in all probability may get delayed as the shoot is yet to start. Director Neeraj Pandey once again collaborates with Akshay in 'Crack' for it is touted to be another patriotic thriller from the actor-director combo.

7- Gold (15 August 2018)

‘Gold’ is an Excel Production produced by Ritesh Sidwani and Farhan Akhtar and directed by Reema Kagti. Another patriotic flick which revolves around the first Olympic gold medal India won in Hockey in 1948 after it gained independence. Akshay is expected to play a hockey player who led India to its first ever Olympic gold. This will easily be one of the most eagerly awaited Akshay Kumar films of 2018 which will have an Independence Day release.

8- Karan Johar – Salman Khan joint production

This will be something to watch out for. If it's Karan Johar and Salman Khan joining hands for a maiden joint production venture then it's bound to be good. Nothing has been disclosed about this untitled film except that their close friend Akshay Kumar will be playing the lead.

9- Mogul (2018)

‘Mogul’, this Akshay Kumar starrer is the latest to join the overcrowded list of his upcoming releases. The film is a biopic on the late music baron Gulshan Kumar who was the founder of the music and production company T-Series. The biopic will be directed by Subhash Kapoor and will release somewhere in 2018.

Although, Rekha boldly admitted her love for him, Amitabh Bachchan never admitted it in public.

He did it to protect his image, his family, his children. Why should the public know of my love for him or his love for me? Before Abhishek Bachchan got married to Ash, Karisma Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan were every bit a couple in love, and they were even engaged to each other on Amitabh Bachchan’s 60th Birthday. However, it seems interference from their families resulted in the relationship going kaput.

Surrounded by the Somali women, Zuckerbeg posted a heartfelt photo-message on Facebook. He thanked them for their hospitality and shared their stories of the resilience of finding a home in a foreign land.

He wrote, "I left impressed by your strength and resilience to build a new life in an unfamiliar place. You are a powerful reminder of why this country is so great."
